Recently I had the pleasure of stopping by the Asanda Aveda Spa Lounge in NYC’s Soho district for a Caribbean mani/pedi (my hands and feet still feel soft!). Up on the third floor, nestled away from the shopping mayhem on the streets of Soho below, you enter a peaceful oasis filled with white furniture, white flowers, and flooded with bright light. The little getaway has only existed for about a year, but has become a place that women go to to get more than just a beauty treatment, but an escape from the stress of the city and a day of relaxation. It’s perfect before heading to the last of your holiday parties or out on New Year’s Eve (the last day it’s available).

If you’re more into the former idea of spending the day, or at least a few hours, letting your feet rest from all that Soho shopping, Asanda offers a Luxury Sunday package as well. For $99, you will get to choose two spa services and receive champagne and Godiva chocolates while you (and hopefully your girls) lounge. Sounds pretty fab to me!
